Learn how to change the email address associated with your Pirate Ship account in your Account Settings

Changing YARRrrr email address you use to log in to Pirate Ship is easy, Matey! You'll find everything you need when you navigate to y'er Account Settings.

You can change the email address associated with your account in your Account Settings

  • Change Your Email Address in Account Settings: To change the email address associated with your Pirate Ship account, navigate to your Settings > Account Settings. From there, enter your desired email address and click "Update Email" ๐Ÿ’ช

    • Here's how that looks:

  • Enter the Verification Code: Once you click the blue "Update Email" button, you'll receive a 6-digit verification code from Pirate Ship at that new email address. Enter that code in the pop-up window to verify and save your new email ๐Ÿ‘Œ

    • This verification process is part of Pirate Ship's Two-Factor Authentication (2FA) to protect your account, which you can read about here.

  • Use Your New Email to Log In and Receive Emails: After you verify and save your new email address, that email will be the one you use to log in to your Pirate Ship account.

    • This is also the email address where we will send correspondence such as carrier adjustment notifications, rate change announcements... and maybe even the occasional pirate joke ๐Ÿ˜‰
