How do I pay for postage?

Here's the billing & payments options for purchasing postage for shipping

Updated over a week ago

You can purchase postage with any type of credit or debit card, as well as through PayPal. You can manage this by navigating to the Settings / Payment Method page, and clicking the blue "Add New" button to add a preferred payment method.

Here's how that looks:

You will only be charged when you purchase postage, and you will only be charged the exact amount of the postage (unless you configure your account to have a Default Payment Amount, which can be helpful if you’re purchasing lots of postage and want fewer transactions on your statements).

Are there any fees?

With Pirate Ship, you simply pay for postage as you go, at the deepest discounts possible. Since there are no monthly fees or hidden costs, you don't need to provide any payment information to sign up for a free account... but you'll need to add a card when you're ready to buy postage.

Do I have to pay any tax?

Shipping is excluded from sales tax, so there isn't any sales tax you'll need to pay on top of the cost of your postage!

Can I pay with PayPal?

Pirate Ship accepts payments through PayPal! If you'd like to use PayPal to buy postage, just go to your Settings / Payment Method and click the "Pay with PayPal" icon at the top 👍
