Starting October 6th, USPS is increasing the rates for the 2024 peak holiday season for certain shipments, but the good news is most rates won't be affected on Pirate Ship!
Rates will only increase for 21+ lb shipments and shipments going to or from Alaska, Hawaii, Puerto Rico, and Military APO/FPO/DPO
The holiday increase will only apply to shipments weighing 21+ pounds and all shipments being sent to or from Alaska, Hawaii, Puerto Rico, and Military addresses. The rate increases will apply to the following USPS services:
USPS Ground Advantage & Ground Advantage Cubic
Priority Mail, Priority Mail Flat Rate, & Priority Mail Cubic
Priority Mail Express & Priority Mail Express Flat Rate
International services will not increase
The temporary rate increase applies only to domestic USPS services. International USPS services such as First Class Package International, Priority Mail International, and Priority Mail Express International are not affected.

The holiday rate increases for 21+ lb shipments and all packages going to or from Alaska, Hawaii, Puerto Rico, and Military addresses will vary depending on the service, weight or size, and zone. We've listed them below:

All domestic Priority Mail Express Flat Rate services will increase by $1.55
