See Previous Missing Mail Search Results: To see the results of previous missing mail searches, you can go to the USPS Missing Mail Search page here: Missing Mail and Lost Packages.
Click Start Your Missing Mail Search: From there, scroll down to "3. Submit a Missing Mail Search Request," and click the Start Your Missing Mail Search button.
Here's a screenshot of where to find that button on the USPS website:
Login to Your USPS Account: After you click that, USPS will ask you to log in to the USPS account you used to start that inquiry. Once you're logged in, you'll see the option to view Submitted Search Requests at the top of the page, as we've highlighted here:
Click on ID Numbers to See Details: From there, you'll see all of your previous missing mail searches, and can click on the ID number for any of them to see more details about the case.
Clicking on a specific ID will bring you into that particular search itself, where USPS will provide all the nitty gritty details you need 😉

For In-Progress Missing Mail Search Requests
Missing Mail FAQs: USPS has a few options for missing mail searches still in progress. This FAQ page goes over most of the basics.
Call USPS: They recommend calling 1-800-275-8777 (1-800-ASK-USPS) to ask for the phone number of your local Consumer Affairs office regarding a Missing Mail request.
That said, the Postal Service's 1-800 number is pretty slow at the best of times, and during peak seasons (such as the holidays) it’s most likely swamped 🙈
USPS Sends Email Notifications: USPS will also send out email notifications with status updates regarding your search 👍 Those will go to the email address that was provided in the “Whom can we contact about this search?” section on the search request form.
