Logging in to your Pirate Ship account shouldn't feel like guessing a secret code word 😉 Here are some of the most common errors we see around login issues, and how to fix them.
Typos in your email address or password
Email address or password typos: If you're having trouble logging in, start by double-checking that the email address and password you're typing doesn't contain any typos. This may seem overly simple, but it's one of the leading causes of login issues!
Your internet browser is out-of-date
Old internet browser issues: You might run into difficulties logging in when using an outdated internet browser 🙈 Some errors you may encounter with an outdated browser include:
Seeing a box below the login field that displays a Cloudflare error message.
Not being able to select the "Yarrrr, log me in" button on the sign-in page (the button is not clickable).
Update your browser to clear these errors: If you're seeing errors like the above, we recommend updating your internet browser to the most modern version. If you're operating system won't allow you to update your browser, then we recommend using a different browser to log in and/or a different device.
Your email inbox is over quota or your email address is inactive
Your inbox is over quota: Some email inboxes have a limit to how many messages they can contain at a time. To keep your Pirate Ship account secure, our two-factor authentication process sends an email with a unique code when you attempt to log in. If your inbox is too full to receive messages, you may not receive those email codes.
A quick way to fix is this is to delete old messages in your inbox and try logging in to Pirate Ship again. You might also be able to upgrade your email plan to allow for more inbox space, depending on your provider.
Inactive email address: If your email is inactive and you can't log in to update it, chat with our Support Crew 👍 We can manually edit your login email address to your most current active email.
