In this article, we go over how to print labels in PDF format from an Android device. We also share Google's recommendations for printing through some third-party apps, since they discontinued their Cloud Print service 👍

Printing Labels from your Android Device via the Built-in PDF Printer for Chrome / Google Drive

  • Steps for Printing via the Built-in PDF Printer:

    • Click on the "Print Label" button of the label you’d like to save as a PDF file

    • Tap the three-dot vertical icon on the top right-hand side corner of your screen

    • Tap Print, then Select a Printer. From there, choose the Save as PDF option

    • Tap the Save icon that appears towards the right-hand side corner, below the Save as PDF option

    • Once you've saved your label as a PDF, you can send that file to the printer of your choice

  • If the "Print" Option is Missing: On some devices, that "Print" option listed above may be missing 🙈 Instead, you can:

    • Tap the three-dot vertical icon on the top right-hand side corner of your screen

    • Tap Share, then Chrome > Print. Next, tap Select a Printer, and from there, choose the Save as PDF option

    • Tap the Save icon that appears towards the right-hand side corner, below the Save as PDF option

    • Once you've saved your label as a PDF, you can send that file to the printer of your choice
