Etsy stopped allowing new Pirate Ship connections on October 21, 2024
No New Etsy Integrations: As of October 21, 2024, Etsy stopped allowing new connections with shipping software providers like Pirate Ship. According to Etsy, connections made before then should continue functioning normally, but any new connections will not be able to:
Access shipping addresses for your orders
Submit tracking numbers back to Etsy
Automatically mark items as shipped
Use Our Paste Address Feature as a Workaround: To continue purchasing labels on Pirate Ship for your Etsy orders, we recommend using our Paste Address feature to copy/paste your addresses into Pirate Ship.
Note that once you buy a label, you'll need to manually copy the tracking number and paste it back into Etsy to mark the order as "Shipped."
Visit Etsy for More Info: For more information on this change, see Etsy's support article on connecting third-party shipping apps.
Why isn't my Etsy order showing up in Pirate Ship? (for connections made before October 21, 2024)
We Import Unshipped Orders Only: Pirate Ship will import any Unshipped orders from your Etsy store.
If an order isn't showing up in Pirate Ship, it's probably already been marked as Shipped in Etsy.
You're Trying to Re-Make a Label You Bought Already: Unfortunately, Etsy doesn't allow you to edit addresses after an order is placed 🙈
If you need to ship to a different address, you'll have to create the label manually in Pirate Ship using the Create a Single Label page, and then mark the order as Shipped manually in Etsy.
