USPS has announced a temporary 8% price increase for domestic shipping rates for anything shipped from April 26th, 2026 to January 17th, 2027. This time-limited price change is driven by higher transportation costs across the market ⛽️

Domestic USPS services
All services (Ground Advantage, Priority Mail, Priority Mail Cubic, Priority Mail Express) will see an increase of 8%.
Priority Mail Flat Rate
Depending on which Priority Mail Flat Rate service you choose, rates will change by the following amounts:
Flat Rate Envelope: +$0.72 increase
Padded Flat Rate Envelope: +$0.82 increase
Legal Flat Rate Envelope: +$0.81 increase
Small Flat Rate Box: +$0.79 increase
Medium Flat Rate Box: +$1.48 increase
Large Flat Rate Box: +$2.06 increase
APO/FPO/DPO Large Flat Rate Box: +$2.19 increase
Priority Mail Express Flat Rate
Priority Mail Express Flat Rate services are changing by the following amounts:
PME Flat Rate Envelope: +$2.31 increase
PME Legal Flat Rate Envelope: +$2.33 increase
PME Padded Flat Rate Envelope: +$2.35 increase
