Here's a complete list of where to buy your labels ๐Ÿ˜ƒ

Dymo 2x7" label printers

If you're using one of the following Dymo label printers that support 2x7" labels, you'll want to buy the Dymo-Compatible 99019 label paper (or label paper with the dimensions of 59 x 190 millimeters):

  • Dymo LabelWriter 450

  • Dymo LabelWriter 450 Turbo

  • Dymo LabelWriter 450 Twin Turbo

  • Dymo LabelWriter 450 Duo

  • Dymo LabelWriter 4XL (also works with 4x6" labels)

  • Dymo LabelWriter 330 Turbo

Dymo 4XL label printer

If you're using a Dymo 4XL 4x6" label printer, you'll want to buy Dymo 4XL-compatible shipping labels. They don't have to be Dymo-brand, but they need to be Dymo compatible ๐Ÿ˜‰

Brother 2x7" label printers

If you're using one of the following Brother 2x7" label printers, you'll want to buy the Brother DK-2223 label paper, or the DK-2205 label paper:

  • Brother QL-500

  • Brother QL-700

  • Brother QL-800

  • Brother QL-810W

  • Brother QL-820NWB

  • Brother QL-550

  • Brother QL-570

  • Brother QL-1050 (also works with 4x6" labels)

  • Brother QL-1050N (also works with 4x6" labels)

  • Brother QL-1060N (also works with 4x6" labels)

  • Brother QL-1100 (also works with 4x6" labels)

  • Brother QL-1110NWB (also works with 4x6" labels)

Brother 4x6" label printers

If you're using one of the following Brother 4x6" label printers, you can use the DK-1241 or DK-1247 label paper if your printer doesn't have a cutter, or the DK-2243 or DK-2246 if your printer has a cutter:

  • Brother QL-1050

  • Brother QL-1050N

  • Brother QL-1060N

  • Brother QL-1100

  • Brother QL-1110NWB

Zebra or other direct thermal 4x6" label printers

Other label printers don't need specific label paper, so just look for 4x6" direct thermal label paper that supports the printer you have. We recommend fanfold label paper if you're doing a lot of shipping, as long as your printer supports it.

Desktop Printers

Regular old computer paper works just fine with Pirate Ship! You'll just want to use a strong, clear packing tape to stick your label onto the package, and avoid creating any lines or creases if you're taping over the barcode ๐Ÿ‘

However, it makes life a lot easier to buy half-sheet sticker label paper, like these ones:

Note: Pirate Ship currently ONLY supports half-sheet sticker paper like these ones, where a letter-size paper is cut exactly down the middle. There are other shipping label paper templates out there that have different layouts, and Pirate Ship labels will NOT align to their sticker cutouts.

If you're using a printer that you can't find in this article, feel free to chat with us, and we'll send you in the right direction!
