List of countries not currently accepting shipments from USPS or UPS

Here's a running list of countries you can't ship to right now with USPS or UPS on Pirate Ship

Unfortunately, many countries' postal services aren't accepting shipments from USPS due to regional conflicts or other factors. Until further notice, USPS isn't accepting inbound mail or packages addressed to the following countries:

Countries not accepting packages from USPS on Pirate Ship:

  1. Afghanistan

  2. Belarus

  3. Gaza Strip

  4. Ghana

  5. Lebanon

  6. Libya

  7. Niue (accepting Priority Mail Express International only)

  8. Russian Federation

  9. South Sudan

  10. Ukraine

  11. Yemen

What happens if I already shipped a package to one of these countries?

  • Sent USPS packages will be returned: Until these countries begin accepting shipments again, if USPS packages are shipped to these destinations, they will be returned to the original sender.

    • To help you save time & hassle, Pirate Ship will prevent you from purchasing USPS labels for these destinations until shipments are accepted again.

  • Returned packages may be credited: If you've had a USPS package returned from one of these destinations, chat with us using the blue button on the bottom left of the screen in the Help Center so we can credit your account 👍

Ship with UPS as an alternative

Since Pirate Ship also offers discounted UPS® labels, you may be able to use UPS international services to ship to these countries.

  • List of countries with suspended UPS service: Like USPS, UPS has temporarily suspended service to some countries. As of September 30, 2025, the countries UPS has suspended some of its services to are as follows:

    • Cook Islands

    • Micronesia

    • Faeroe Islands

    • Greenland

    • Cambodia

    • Kiribati

    • Laos

    • Marshall Islands

    • Mayotte

    • New Caledonia

    • Palau

    • Solomon Islands

    • East Timor

    • Turkmenistan

    • Tonga

    • Tuvalu

    • Vanuatu

    • Wallis and Futuna

    • Western Samoa
